Mod help please... Need some thoughts on the next purchade for my Corvette. I am looking at buying LT headers either LG's, Kook's or the Supermax system. But this wll be the last purchase for awhile, like 1-2 years. The concern I have is that with street tires my best 1/4 time is 12.94. I have a pair of BFG DR's with about 1/3 life left in them left over from last year in the basement waiting to be re-mounted for summer. My best time with the DR's is 12.58, but I average in the 12.8's. THe concern is with the added HP and TQ of the headers and not having DR's will be counter productive. I think with LT's and DR's is should be able to hit the 12.3's or lower when everything is right. So the root question is should I get the LT's or buy some ZR1 17x11 Wheels and buy more DR's? My mods are Blackwing only on the motor for my 12.58 run. since then I have added a LS6 intake and have dyno runs averaging 223HP/229TQ.

I would do the LTs, lose the cats and never look back.
What are your current short times?
