2000 Corvette issues?

2000 Corvette issues? are there any known issues with the 2000 corvette? I am looking into a 6 speed convertible. I also have a mild 6.0 being built for my ta, should the 6.0 be reserved for the corvette?

I have no oil issues and the only issue is they are not fast enough but neither is an 01 -04
If you want to spin it up get new Katech rod bolts and while your in there get the katech oil pump and timing chain .
If the 6.0 is an ls2 aluminum go for it .
If it is iron Put it in a truck save your money for the ls2 4.0 stroke 402 or c5r block .

except my addiction for mods
Do it once and correct the first time ,I should listen to my own drummer

Either is good foundation
2000 Only the normal ones: column lock, gas quage, rear end leak. which is common
