best cam for 98 m6

best cam for 98 m6 blackwing/stingers only mods
cam interest-making most usable hp(seems the best hp improv for $$)
idle quality-don't want any, want people at gas station to make weird faces
springs/p.rods-seems like comp 918's and hardened pushrods are the standard setup
keeping the lifters from falling-is it worth the $$ to buy thunder racing's kit?
i'm doing the install-what do i need to do for tuning? is it neccessary?
