Best computer programmer for an 04 vette convertible?

My neighbor has an 04 Convertible that is bone stock with the manual trans. What is the best handheld for his Vette? Would a tune be a better option for him? And would an intake mod work well with the tune or is it a waste of money? Just trying to get some information for him, he's not too computer savy.

Can't answer about the hand helds. I like my HP Tuners. He needs to decide what mods he wants to do first. If they are quiet a few then HPT all the way. If its only CAI then the programmer is a waste of money.

a dyno tune is best...hand helds are only a ball park guess

He'd be better off until waiting until he got a full intake and full exhaust before getting a tune.

Crane Cams has the best tuner!!! It has a section where you can tune for aftermarket cams. I'm doing a Crane Cam swap and I'm getting the tuner to go with the cam. My friend has the tuner now and it's nice. Vinci High Performance sells it.
