Default TPIS headers for the C-6

We have just finished our long tube header for the C-6. This header will be offered coated with our in house ceramic silver luster finish. This header requires the catalitic converters to be moved to the rear. We have developed a complete kit that does not require any cutting or welding. The first dyno test have been done and we are very pleased. The test was with an all stock induction system. screens in, stock air filters, We did not reflash the ECU,also the factory mufflers were in place. the sound level was not increased. A gain of over 15 lb. ft from 3900 rpm to 6600 rpm was seen, and from 4800 rpm to 5800 rpm 19 and 20 lb ft of torque

The HP gains saw a peak of 22 rwhp. with no less than 12 HP during the run.

Pricing for the basic header is going to be $750.00.

I have not figured out the install kit pricing yet. It will contain a new style power h-pipe, a pair of high flow cats, four O'2 extensions, four band clamps, two mid system pipes- these will connect to the factory mufflers.

These headers install from the bottom with plenty of clearance.

I wil have some photos in the next day or two

looks good Myron. did yall have to change the headers that much compared to the C5s? it doesnt look like there are a lot of differences in the cars themselves in that area. heck its easier to get to the exhaust manifolds on the C6 than the C5

The cars are very close to the same. Our C5 header hits in several places. The C6's bellhousing is 1 inch longer. and it appears that frame rails have been reshaped. Also the C6 has its cats bolted directly to the exhaust manifolds. if you look at the pic that we posted you will see a new power h-pipe. Also because of the larger cube's I changed the primary length. They are approx. 2 inch's longer. This months popular hot rodding has an article by Dave Vizard. That is a must read. It validates our theory on exhaust design. Bigger is almost never better. Pay attention to his comment to where the h-pipe belongs.
