Talking New LS1TECH project car!

Well, if the numbers look good in person this Saturday, I'll be driving home in a brand new 2005 Corvette. I'm selling my '02 Convertible SS tomorrow, and replacing it with the new toy.

Black paint on red leather
Comp Gray optional wheels
6-speed (of course!)
Z51 package
clear roof option
1SB loaded package

It looks exactly like this one:

I can't wait

Tony

As much as I wanna see that '69 in 3 weeks I think you should drive that out here instead. It'd be a great chance to get an idea of mileage and would make some great shots going around the Road Atlanta track and AutoX course

Well, if the '69 acts up any, I'll have a nice backup ride to Atlanta

I've been fighting a power steering fitting leak on the '69 for a couple days. Might have it fixed now, had to order custom fittings and notch my alternator (its tight down there!)

Sweet.
Then take Dave Hill for a spin...........after you add the LTs/CAI/catback and a tune your at close to 400 RWHP/TQ
Got a local fellow thats modding his C6. He's at ~375/375 w/o the tune & CAI.
We decided to pocket $16k and get a C5 vert..............even though the Yellow and White look Sweet and we have been all over them at the plant!
C6 is very mod friendly and can take a roll bar..............hum

A good price would be 5-7K off sticker(GMS)..........some are getting up to 3K off from dealers.

most non-raping dealers will sell them at $2000-2500 off of MSRP. GM just announced a $1000 rebate this past Tuesday, that expires at the end of May, as long as take delivery prior to the end of May.

So, the sticker on mine was $52.6K, I'm buying it for $3K off of that price.

I have seen bone stock dynos from 327rwhp - 356rwhp (If you baby the car it isn't going to perform)

The 02-04 Z06's seem to average about 15rwhp stronger than the C6.

If you look at the curves, though, the LS2 supposedly has more power under the curve than the LS6. At least they did on the engine dyno.

Nice car, Tony! Black with red-trimmed interior is one of my possible color choices for the new Z06. Let me know how difficult yours is to keep detailed and looking good.
