4.10 Pro/Cons Gas mileage affect? How much RWHP loss? What would the car top out at with 4.10?

Re: 4.10 Pro/Cons I doubt you'll have an unacceptable amount of decreased gas mileage. I had 4.10's in my '94 Trans Am and my gas mileage didnt change at all.
Whine is a non-issue if the gears are set up properly.
Weakness is a concern of mine, nobody has made a 10 tooth pinion gear for the C5, there could be a reason for that.

Re: 4.10 Pro/Cons With our great 6th gear, I don't think gas mileage will be a problem. The F-body guys are reporting differences of 1-2 mpg with 4.10s (or is it 4.11s?). I think tires will be more of an issue... LIGHT 'EM UP! <img src="images/icons/grin.gif" border="0">
