LG Motorsports finished putting in an ARE LS6 oil pump in my car today and no more oil pressure problems. 83psi at 5k!

What were the symptoms of your oil pressure problem?

I'm thinking about getting one of these pumps when I put my camshaft in this spring.

On cold start up I would have a "Low Oil Pressure" message on the DIC and oil pressure would read 0 for about 5-10 seconds. At idle I was only seeing 15-20psi and at WOT I was seeing about 45-50. Sustained WOT (all 4 gears)or what seemed to be hard cornering would also give me another "Low Oil Pressure" message on the DIC and the guage would read 0 psi until I backed off.

I think the problem with mine was a sticking OPRV (Oil Pressure Relief Valve.) The ARE LS6 pump is modded - I believe the pickup valve is ported and it includes a thicker shim for the spring. Bottom line is plenty of oil pressure now.
