The "racers" C5
Visceral - Actually what i'm about to say would be a good topic for a discussion thread ........don't take this personally as this is JMO in general about used cars, but i personally wouldn't buy a car that's been moderately or heavily modified. I know we all can debate this topic to death giving pros and cons for each view. But like i said it's JMO.

I totally agree with you...
But I believe that using a company like MTI to do the work creates equity and gives ppl the feeling that good work was done. Certainly gave *me* that feeling when it was done. If its not universal, you still might find that people like myself who have had large work done at MTI will consider a car with MTI upgrades as having something of worth, like a Lingenfelter or DRM.

TRUE! They are Top Quality shops and that's why i choose MTI to do the performance upgrades to my car, because they are THE BEST. But that's a veiw from an owner wanting quality work done to his car. But from a buyers view point quality work was done but the question is "how much did the previous owner beat on it prior to selling it"? Again, I know this topic can be debated from all angles from here to eternity but this is JMO.
