Default For looks or for horse power

I've been looking to pick up some extra power for my car so the first thing ive been doing is looking to go after the simple boltons. Ive seen this high flow bridge advertised by many different
companies and was wondering if anyone is using one of these with their high flow intake systems and is it worth any horses or just a looks thing?

I think they're mostly for looks. Did you see the numbers that No Mercy's Z06/Z07 was putting down? Thats with the stock air bridge.

I would like some more empirical data as I have yet to see anybody dyno back to back with stock vs any other air bridge.

Eric - I am a relative newby when it comes to mods so take anything I say hear with a large dose of salt!

Having offered my disclaimer, I was thinking about the bridge mod. I have one and, in theory, it would seem that it would do what it is advertised to do. Problem is, it is one of those mods where a dyno might not be able to tell if it is actually adding more hp because the car needs to be moving fast enough to have air passing into the intake system.

Guys, am I making sense here?

If so, I hope this helps. If not, please read my disclaimer again!
