Default Exhause advice for C5

This one guy i work with finally broke down and bought a C5. Its really nice, a '97 black automatic with the glass roof. Only 25,000 miles on it and he got it for an awesome price. But he wants to put an exhaust and intake on it. What is the best sounding catback, not too loud, just a low mellow rumble. I suppose performance should also play a part in the decision making process as well. Thanks in advance guys!!

Corsa aint bad, kinda $$ tho. Mufflex has damn good setups, and on the Fbody soundclip they've got, its a very mellow exhaust tone @ idle. Same w/ the Corsa. Both systems car scream @ WOT tho.

Personally, i dont like Borla. Never been into their systems. Mufflex, and Corsa is what i would recommend. And for intake do you mean like K&N air filter, or actual intake? B/c K&N or i believe its called the Blackwing are the two most popular. And an LS6 intake would be ok, but would be a better setup with other engine mods, imo. Hope he enjoys the C5.

I have great performance and a deep V8 growl using the B&B Triflow PRT with Magnaflow X pipe. Add a Halltech T1 intake and ported throttle body to produce better response and rwhp.
