Re: quick mods Cut the air box open so the filter is exposed (some people use plastic ties to tie the air filter to the opening), or just buy a blackwing air filter setup (its kinda the standard air box mod everybody does).
Your exhaust isnt all that important just yet so leave that till later.
Descreen the maf if it has a screen.
Other than that, its time to spend money on a cam/heads/headers/offroad hpipe/xpipe.

Re: quick mods I have a custom Nasty Performance 4" Air Intake (twin flow style) It`s made to work w/ LS6 mass air but have an addapter to fit the stock one til you are ready to upgrade. It has increased .2ths and 2 mph on stock C5`s and ZO6`s.
