With the 3500 Vigilante, Blackwing and Corsa exhaust, my best in cold air was 11.99 @ 112.5. Also had a string of 12.0's to 12.2 at the same race.
Go for a big Vigilante converter (3500 or bigger), tune the shift points, etc. with LS1_Edit and you will have a low 12 sec car in the heat, 11's in the cool.
