Default Quick Question

I read a post on www.racingflix.com about a vette with a C5R block that ran an 8 second 1/4-- they said to check LS1tech.com but i haven't seen anything about it. You guys have a link i could check up on? or any info about it? that makes me drool! Nice to stumble upon another site of rice-eaters! wish i had an LS1 but my LT1 works well enough

The one you are probably thinking of is the twin turbo lingenfelter vette. It has a C5R motor and recently went into the 8s.

This is just my opinion, but if the motor doesnt come from Katech, its not a C5R motor. Being they're the ppl that build the C5R motors for American LeMans.

And yeah, the Lingenfelter TT 427 did a 8.95 @ 150 run on the slip. This was with like 864rwhp and probably close to 20psi. Either the turbo's are being upgraded, or they were upgraded before that run, but that car is insane. Looks like a basically stock Corvette, but the wheelies will let ya know its not

Oh, and for those that read Motor Trend, wait till the May issue comes out...reprint of the TT 427, and LPE's H2 that does like 13s w/ a MagnaCharger
