what year motor

My friend has got a 84 vette but the motor that is in it isn't the same. it has the crossfire injection. also says the intake bolts are angled. supposivly it came out of a nova and was in somthing else before that. if any one has any info for me please feel free to share any information.

no it didnt COME in the novz but was in one. becuase it had been tzken out and put into a few different cars we cant find out what year the motor is. if any one can tell me what to look for on the motor to find out what year it was made in it would be greatlly appreciated
