99 corvette cluster problem

99 corvette cluster problem Okay, My brother just bought a 99 corvette convertible from the auction on friday. The cluster will freak out and gauges will all the way reset and you have to turn the car on then off and it is fine, seems to do it when you get on it, or hit some bumps, I did a search and didn't find anything conclusive, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Check the connector in the back of the cluster... You have to remove the cluster to get at it.. I had a pin loose in the plug on the car side and my tach would do somthing similar...
