Hey what is a good place on the internet with good prices on LG longtubes, and some X-pipes. So far everyone has said LG and Kooks Longtubes are pretty much equal with great performance from both, I dont plan on running cats on my car. So I guess it would be a toss up between the 2 headers I guess which onesI can fine at the best deal.

so I did the filter mod. It was very easy. I hope it will stay in place though. I think it will. I was wonderin apprx. how much rwhp i will gain from a full exhaust like Lg longtube headers and let say the borla like 93TAWicked1 has vs. just a cat back

I would run the LG headers with the stock Ti mufflers. The stock mufflers are only costing about 7HP over an open pipe on a stock car.

With the Zip ties. If you follow my directions, and you put them under a little bit of tension, when you snap the handles in place, the filter will be held in place with 0 issues.

Oh I also bought a 160 degree thermostat last night. I know vettes run hot anyways. Should i use it or take it back and just make the fans come on sooner? And If I put it on now it wont do anything because of the computer settings right? Will It hurt anything if I put it in now?

You use your rear 02s on the front with LGMs. If you run with no cats the you delete the rear 02s with 02 sims. Some folks run cats to help kill some of the noise. Its a personal choice.

160 thermo is fine, but you need to re-program the computer to turn on the fans. I suggest getting a copy of HPT to do your tuning. Having the thermostat won't hurt anyhting, as long as you are moving, air will go through the radiator and keep the car cool. The issue is when you stop the fans don't come on til 200-210 or so. Also do the hot water bypass on the TB to keep the intake cooler.

Hey 93TAWICKED1.......... How does your exaust system sound because you have what i want. I want LG longtubes (1 7/8), x-pipe no cats, Borla Stingers Quad Tip. How do they sound on your car and did they wake it up. I plan on getting the LG and X-pipe first, than save up and get the Borla's.

Hey 93TAWicked1....... Is it so loud its annoying or does it actually sound good. I want it to be calm while im cruizing in 6th but besides that I like it to talk some trash the rest of the time. I dont want it to sound so loud its that you think it was ragged at out or something.

It is pretty loud but cruizing I can talk on the cell phone. If you don't have headers then its fine. With headers and no Cats its a bit. I have flowmaster race mufflers on mine so it tones it down at idle but at WOT its pretty nuts
