Z06 question Hey guys i was just cruzin through e bay and i found this auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=4564715045 it says its an original z06 but its a vert. Did GM make some that were verts???? Thanks guys.

GM never made a Z06 vert as far as I know. That Z06 convertible package was built by Skerks Werkes, and IMO, the way they make it seem like it was originally a Z06 convertible built by GM is a crock of ****.
I don't understand this, of course it is a Z06, was it a convertible at the factory...probably not. There are plenty of Z06 convertibles non of which are stock. But then mine is not stock either but its still a Z06....
If I could find a place to do mine in a targa for cheaper then the 8k carivallego (whatever) charge I'd do it

Several companies did purchase several zo6's and turned them into verts. I know gmmg did as well as cavaggio.

the VIN tells the story If you look at the VIN number and check the first 8 digits of the number it will tell you if the car started life as a Z06 or as a convertible..1G1YY12S is a Z06...1G1YY32G is a convertible...and just a FYI 1G1YY22G is a coup...
