Plus it has more low end torque, so you launch at a lower rpm (instead of 5000 - with AWD), then get into it. Sure, the Evo may get a 10ft jump or so, but then the vette will be saying "color me gone" as it flies by.
My brain hurts.

In all honesty I would not put a C5R bodykit on a vette unless I was packing a 427 and I trailered it to the track. Oh man, if your brother is retarded enough to pass on a C5 for a Lancer because the Lancer launches better in a video game then he is seriously retarded and shouldnt be driving. yeah, the whole point of this thread was to find a c5r bodykit
we've seen LOTS of bodykits
but none that look exactly like the c5r
sad. doesnt the c5r look pretty?
about the whole EVO thing,
someone was selling one down the street for dirt cheap
(we're neighbors)
when i was talking about the EVO here,
i was saying things he was saying.

fwiw, i was having my z28 detailed one day and noticed an Evo in the parking lot. I asked who's it was and it was the guy that had just got done detailing my car. Long story short, we brought them out, my z28 had a lid, off road Y pipe, and a dumped bullet, on bfg 315 drags. His EVO had all bolt ons.
I did my burn out, and got ready, he revved up to probably his redline and was ready.
He jumped me by no more than 8 feet. As he shifted gears, I passed him.
Afterwards his first comment was "holy **** that car is fast!"
Oh, and him and i both left the same length of rubber on the ground when we launched.
