Fuel Gauge issue...
Fuel Gauge issue... Well I pull my car over and I pop the hatch while its still running to get something out the trunk I shut the hatch and I hear the BING noise and my fuel gauge goes to zero and the LCD says "Low Fuel". I turned the car off and back on and it worked fine again. Driving down the road I hit a small bump and the same problem again. I presume its possible a loose wire but where should I start my search.
And as for it being my first post I would like to say hello
MY car is a 1998 C5 just bought it about a month ago. I have 3 other cars including 2 Camaros one being a 91 RS with about 475HP and a 88 Iroc thats a stock TPI. I am not knew to cars but being the big jump in technology with the vette I would like a hint where to start. Thanks!

This is an extremely common C5 problem, and I even think the C6 owners are having the same issue too! There really is no easy fix for it, you kinda just have to live with it. Mine does it too, but it comes in waves, it'll do it every day for a month, and then won't do it at all for a couple of months.
Using a good injector cleaner can sometimes help, but even that is usually not enough.

Here is a picture of the C5 just for reference. It has had some cam work done and aftermarket headers and exaust system. Havn't gotten the chance to identify everything yet.
