Default Early 90's Vette

Does anyone know the numbers on a stock 93 vette? 1/4 mile 0-60 hp & tq?

Also, are there supercharger manufacturers out there for those early to mid 90's vette's? If so, are they worth it? The interior guage clusters and such were beautiful and working on this one I looked at. I was an anniversary edition w/red interior. For what years did the vette have that guage cluster with the monitors on the center part of the dash? I couldn't believe all of the guages and monitors worked on it. That is rare! He wanted 10K for it with 86k miles. LMK what y'all think.

Thanks

I like the C4's, my dad has a maroon 94 auto fully loaded with 37k and it's beautiful. The hp/tq I believe is 300hp, 330tq. He was going to sell it and had offers ranging from 16k-21k, not to sure if those numbers are accurate or not, but thats what he was being offered.

The 93 LT1 in the Corvette had 300hp @5000 rpm and 330fp @4000 rpm. All 93 Corvettes have the 40th anniversary emblems on the seats but the true 40th anniversary edition is ruby red inside and out with special emblems and wheel centers. Chevrolet only offered the anniversary package (RPO Z25) in 93 and it was a $1455 option. There were 6749 coupe, convertible and ZR1 option Rubies produced in 1993. In the C4 Corvette community an anniversary package is simply known as a "Ruby". We have a member in our Corvette club that has an M6 Ruby vert that has a Vortech supercharger installed and it runs with and usually leaves the local ZR1s and Z06s on the top end.

I've seen stock LT1 C4s run 13.5s at the dragstrip on a good day. Typical is closer to 13.7 to 13.8 though.

I'm at the drag strip a lot and I have very rarely seen a "bone-stock" LT1 'Vette break out of the 14's. Typically, they are a low-14's cars and if you buy one thinking it's going to run consistent 13's unmodded, chances are good that you're going to be disappointed.

In their March 1993 issue, Motor Trend tested an LT1 C4 and managed to squeak a best run of 14.0 @ 101.7 out of it. Of course, that was done with a brand-new car.

The LT1s can run in the mid 13s. They are very dependant on the condition of their plugs and wires which are a pita to change.

My experience has shown that LT1 Vettes can turn in inconsistent times between cars for a myriad of reasons. I have two A4 LT1 vettes....one has the performance axle (3.07) and the other has the standard axle (2.57 or 2.59....I forget which). There is no comparison to in the performance level of the cars. The 3.07 fits the rpm and torque curve of the LT1 best and it will definitely smoke the standard gear until the extreme top end (140+). There are many factors which affect the LT1 performance, plugs, wires, mileage, opti condition, altitude, air temp, and traction... just to name a few. As with any production engine, some are just stronger than the others. When all things are in good shape I've seen properly tuned and driven A4 LT1 Corvettes break into the high to mid 13's on numerous occasions. I don't believe that everyone that thinks they have a machine that will routinely crack into the 13s will actually see those times. It can definitely be a "driver" thing!

It might not do it in the summer, but in cooler fall and spring air it should do it no problem. My 95 Formula (3.23 A4), with less horsepower and more weight than an LT1 Vette, ran a 13.78 at 100mph in completely bone stock trim. It would always run 13.9s or better as long as it was less than 70 degrees outside. LT1s don't like to run in hot weather. On a hot summer day it would run 14.0s to 14.2s. I also owned a 95TA which ran 13.94 at 99mph in bone stock trim (fully loaded 2.73 A4 car too) I eventually modded it a little and had it running 13.54 at 101.5, and a friend of mine had a 93 anniversary Vette and we ran on the street and it was dead even from a dead stop all the way up to 80mph.
