leaf springs???
It can't be, top gear must be wrong.
And YES it does, it has a transverse composit leaf spring. And no it's not old fashioned, well no more than those round rubbery things on each corner of your car.
Formula 1 cars use torsion beams, and they're even older.
Waters wet, the sky is blue, so what the Vette uses leaf springs. Get over it.
lol.

For lot of people, "leaf springs" conjures up old 1960 - 1980 leaf springs mentality. It isn't the quite same, but that is one of the import owners favorite argument.."Your flagship car still employees old technology like leaf springs" lol.
The fact of the matter is, it performs well with it's suspension setup and can't argue the results.

Thanks for the answer though.
I'm always surprised that some people get bent out of shape over silly things like what they feel is a dumb question and instead of a simple "yes" or "no" answer that would have taken 1 second of their life to answer, they spend 5 minutes ridiculing someone who only wanted that 1 second answer.
