what is the difference between these air bridges

Default what is the difference between these air bridges

an 01 and up aftermarket air bridge, and a 97-00 bridge. i have a 99 c5 but a bridge for an 01. it is connected to an slp bellow and BBK. will it fit over the radiator shroud without any problems?

Yes, it should fit over the radiator shroud without a problem. The difference is that the early-type are usually drilled for the IAT sensor. On the 2001+ cars, the IAT sensor is incorporated into the MAF sensor, so the hole isn't necessary and consequently isn't present on the later-type air bridges.

Maf size also changed from 01 to 02+, requiring larger diameter coupling
