John at CCW makes great custom rims in size 16 for drag racing with any rubber you fancy.
Dave, when I shifted at 6900 my mph went up (103+ in the 1/8) but my ET suffererd slightly. Maybe due to some slightly wheelspin on the shifts. Not sure. It would be ideal to shift above 7000 but I would have to compensate for that by shifting faster and adjusting pressure,etc. Plus my limiter is around 7100 and I've been advised not to raise it any higher.
They did get it on video but it got erased by the owner. I do a have a run from that day of 10.61 @ 130+. I'll see if I can get it up.
