Good choice With minimal mods these cars screw. I have an intake, long tubes, cat-back (without a tune) and this car pulls hard.

Thanks Kraest! I'm loving it! Now wish I had the $ to REALLY mod. Everyone warned that when the mod bug bites, it bites hard. Unfortunately though, (or maybe fortunately) it's still under the factory warranty, so I'm only going to mod conservatively...CAI &/or LT's.

Does anyone have any idea how much HP gain the CAI and LT's would yield on this completely bone stock Z?

I'd do VARARAM intake....long tubes(kook/stainlessworks/LG motorsports) and get yourself a tune of some sort...and you'll make great power across the board, not to mention, more torque.

Here are a couple of better pics...BTW, how do I post a pic where it's in my sig??? I've done several searches, but...nothing. I resized a pic to <500X150 pixels, but it said it was too large, needs to be <100X100??? Obviously I'm doing something wrong! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You really dont need to mod them too much, there pretty fast STOCK!!

Just learn to me a really good driver and you'll crush COBRAS with 100 more RWHP!!

GOOD LUCK

LOL I would mod the hell out of my Vette. I can never get enough speed. Then again I don't have a Vette at the moment...when I get one though...

Congrat on the new ride Doc. Were those wheels on there when you bought it? I think you should paint the lips silver and she'll look even better.

Hey DocT,
I made a post on the first page but I guess I didn't notice you were from Burleson... That is good to see another z06 in Burleson. There is a few of us but I never see them when I am in my z06.

Anyways, nice looking Z and if you have any questions about mods or anything shoot me a PM! Or if you want to get together sometime for some fun PM me for that also.

You have to host the picture somewhere (like http://www.photobucket.com) and then copy the link... and then paste the link into your signature area and put the link in between this [IMG] [/IMG].

Let me see if I can find you a pic. What I mean though is the part where the outside of the wheel touches the tires. I personally think silver lips on silver cars looks awesome.

I think this look would be great on your car with the stock Z06 wheels. I'll try to find a pic of a silver car, hopefully a Z.

I'll keep an eye out for you. BTW, do you ever run your car at Kenedale? (wish we had a nearby 1/4 track!) yea, if you don't mind, I'll definitely PM you when I start modding!

Thanks for the heads up on the sig pics.
