Z51 option

Z51 option I'm working toward getting a new C6. Will a Z51 equipped 6 speed manual accelerate quicker than a non Z51 6speed manual? I kinda like the transmission ratios of the Z51 but I’m not sure if it would make much difference or not.

Yes it does, I believe it has similar ratios to the 02-04 Z06 tranny. I would think it would most definatly accelerate faster then a Non Z-51 package. Either way you cant go wrong with a Z51 package(bigger brakes, better suspention, ETC) It is a must on any C6
