Corvette 1979 -How to Install an electric fuel pump

I have a 1979 Corvette 350 and want to install a Carter Electric Fuel Pump. Can someone tell me where to install it on the fuel line?

Remove the fuel pump and the fuel pump pushrod. Go to your local auto parts store and pick up a fuel pump block off plate. Then install your electric fuel pump.

Most fuel pumps push better than pull, so mount it as close to the tank as possible.
