I have drove it around and got on the brakes as hard as I could and they didnt fail. There is still about 3/8 to 1/2 inch of material left at the thinest spot Ill be ok. The only reason I would keep to big front brakes is just fact that drag brakes I my personal experience on the street make alot of nioses and the calipers need to be rebuilt every year pretty much. I drove on aerospace drage brakes in my firehawk for 2 years with no problems and no warped rotors. If the brakes were able to be put on without cutting the old mounding flanges off I would probably do it . I just dont want to make the wrong choise and regret it later.

If you used F-body front calipers, you wouldn't have had to remove as much material.
