I don't have the Vortex, but since I have a C6 on order I've been reading up on them. I think most people just get a small filter and put it on the end of the loose hose and then tie wrap it somewhere, not unlike what some people do with LS1 lids on the Fbodies. You could drill a hole and connect the hose there, that's how my SLP lid is on my Camaro. Just make sure the hole is downstream of the filter so that it pulls filtered air.
