A-pillar pod mounting ideas wanted.
Does anyone have a better way to mount an a-pillar pod other than using the plastic push pins that they supply? I would seem like they would not hold it very securly. I also wonder if it will distort and not fit well when it gets hot in the summer.
I have a 3 gauge pod to mount in my 02.
The pod fits the a-pillar cover nicely so velcro would probably make it stick out and not fit flush. I bought a used a-pillar cover so if I have to modify it I have my stock one to put back later.
To keep the wires from showing it looks like I will need to cut a hole in the factory cover since the pod fits so snug at the bottom of the factory cover that the wires would show if you try to run them between the pod and the stock cover.
I thought some of you guys might have some good tips for me.

Your correct, the stock a-pillar cover will have to have a hole drilled in it to bring the wires into the 3 pillar pod. The push pins will hold it very well. If its the full pillar pod, top to bottom, use 6 push pins. 2 at the top, 2 in the middle and 2 at the bottom.
I've done a bunch of these on alot of different cars, and haven't seen one distort cause of the summer heat.
