rough idle

have a 97 c5 and it has 54000 miles on it

and it seems like it idles rough and misses a little does it maybe need a tune up?

umm, does it have a procharger on it?, is the check engine light on?, you could have blew a hole in a piston, broke a pushrod, valvespring, or rocker... could be a bunch of things, but any of them would most likley throw a code..
