Looking for a corvette, need some info. Once I sell my Formula, I will be looking for a C5. Are there any issues, options, or years to avoid? Anything I should look out for?
I figure the 97s may have issues since they're the first year. Also, I've heard to stay away from the electronic suspension option. Is that the F45 suspension?
I'm looking for a 6 speed coupe. I would consider a FRC, but would rather have a coupe.
Anything else I need to know.

there is a whole sticky on ls1.com and probably on here and it gives you EVERYTHING to look for. Known issues are column lock, faulty gas gauge, headlight popup gears strip, (few had oil consumption and piston slap in 2001). The sticky's author is leaftye (spelling may be different)
