Does your Corvette look like this?

never had traction before on stock tires Richie. The main problem is crossing thru the traps at only 5K rpm in 4th gear, when my shift point is 7K. Falls flat on its face in 4th at the track. Amazingly it went 129.5 mph at low rpm
Joe, PM me details on an upgraded mainshaft.

Yours had 3.42s also, right? Interesting to see how much the 3.90s help (SOTP wise), going from 3.42 to 4.10 in my Camaro had about the same SOTP inprovement that heads and cam did. How many miles your car got on it? I wonder how much stronger the 2006 rearend is? Hmmm.....

Depends. Right now we are having them made for us for the Z06 and C6 transmissions but will only be offering a 300M unit as the 9310 was not recommended on the applications we do. We are looking at about 2 weeks upon completion and they will be a T56Rebuilds.com custom unit. They will be good up to 1300rwhp but of course the stock gears will not. They will be retailed at $1200 plus labor is a standard $350. We will also be offering a upgraded gear set to handle 1300rwhp but that is still in the works. They will also have warrantys on them.
Thanks,
Amber

Spanky, my car has 7K miles on it, 1K with the blower/cam. All 6-spds have 3.42s. With my current combo, 4.10s would be the best for the drag strip, but thats if I never add any power. Hard to fit a 28" tire on a 15" wheel under a Corvette, haha. The 3.90s give me room to grow, and hopefully put me closer to redline going thru the traps. I have a methanol kit to add to the car before the next visit. A few other Corvette racers suggested I used ET Streets instead of ET Radials, to help absorb the shock loading on the rearend. I'll take their word for it, this one busted WAY too easily. 1.8 60' times and no wheelhop, no clutch dumps, and cracked the case all the way thru.
'06 cases aren't much better, they just relocated the mounting ears further out to spread the load better. Mine failed at the rear, so the mounting points had nothing to do with it. The rear of the '06 case is the same as the '05 unfortunately.
