97 vette vs 2000 Camaro SS
Have fun. from a roll i'd def put $ on the SS
from a dig, get a stall converter and tires and you should win
FWIW, in 1998 I managed to run a 13.08 at 108.7 with my old 6 speed 98 Formula, with just free mods and an MTI airbox and still on the stock GSCs (with a 2.00 60ft time). But it took a lot of practice with the car before I got it running that well. My first trip to the track (when the car was one week old and not broken in) netted me a 13.68 at 102.9.
This race is driver more than car if you all ask me, but who is asking me?

Don't jump on Patman, It sounds like he knows a little something about cars. I have a 2002 SS, and when I first bought it I ran 3 passes, all 3 of them were 13.7s using the G-Tech, and I was B.O.N.E stock. Since then I have done some small mods, all bolt on, no mas, tb, or pullies. I now run 8.4-8.5 in the 1/8th. Some of us from the Mid-Iowa Camaro Club (www.midiowacamaroclub.com) are going to Cedar Falls Raceway in July which is a 1/4 mile in Iowa, so we'll see what I run now.
