Try buffing first...it might be some left over residue(s) that are real stubborn...it was the case with my current Z.

I Have heard of a couple people (one guy locally) where their paint was a little faded/hazed/different in color and when they pulled the BSM's it showed that...

My Dad looked at it, and he swears its a film or residue left over. We'll see what the body shop says.
