Competitive Driving Mode?

Does anyone know what year Comp driving mode began? And were they optional equipment (I know that the Z's have it standard)

Glad you brought this up man. My old 2000 frc, I could go to competetive mode......on my latest NEW 200 FRC I can't get it. wtf?

I believe it's an option. I know some of the 99 FRC's had comp mode. It's standard in 02 and up Z06's.

Comp Mode came in with the advent of Active Handling, mid-year 1998. It remained an extra-cost option through model year 2000. Active handling (and Comp Mode) became stardard on all Corvettes in MY 2001.

sounds like it must've been an optional item??? Definitely a cool safety option; they should all have it!
