Are C5 and C6 O2 sims the same?

Are C5 and C6 O2 sims the same? i found a set of O2 sims finally at the local rip off shop.. but they only list C5 and fbodys? would it be the same O2 as the C6 or did they change them over the years? i guess if the C5 and C6 are different motors they would be different?? thanx any help

I have been looking for months and nobody makes them yet. Thats what
some of the sponsors have told me. IF you do find some post back and
let us know. You could get a mail order tune and have them delete the
rear O2's.around $300-$350 on MOST tunes. I'm waiting to do a cam before I take it and have it dyno tuned
and delete the cats.

The nice thing about O2 sims is that they pretend to be nice and happy catalytic converters - just like they are supposed to be.You can get away with tuning out emission stuff on 95 and older cars (no pcm plug in check - yet), but now that they just plug in and check the source, you have to think a little differently.

I hate to say it, but that is what will happen. Here in Texas, they imposed restrictive emission inspections in Harris/Dallas/ElPaso counties. Shortly thereafter, all counties surrounding those initial counties were subject to the same inspection requisites. Hopefully it will stay like this for a while, but who knows. Regardless, it is something to think about.
btw...sat in a C6 for the first time today - wow...wow...wow...

thanx for the replys guys.. ya we have emissions out here in canada also.. but once every 2 years.. so putting in bypass pipes and pluggin in 2 wires for O2 sims is alot cheaper then paying the $300 tune every 2 years... but i will let u no if i find somethin.. if u come accros somethin please let me no. i take out my cats in my TA all the time and i run O2 sims.. plug in my O2 sensors and put the cats back in and it passes no prob. hopefully somethin comes up soon, i really wana hear this thing with no cats and magnaflow cat back
