A/C, heater control passenger side doesn't work?????

A/C, heater control passenger side doesn't work????? My climate control on my passenger side will not switch from hot. Has anyone else had this issue, if so what was the solution??

Yes I drove her the other day, n/a
The engine is coming out next week to be re-ringed, and new bearings. I figure I need to start fresh....
