Airbridge questions
I'm waiting on a Vararam intake, but in the meantime, I might be getting a Blackwing filter. Do all airbridges fit this filter, and, are the airbridges worth it?

We dynoed my stock airbridge and one of the bigger after market ones and saw no gains. We swapped them out on the dyno and did back to back runs. They may help high HP cars, at the time I was making 414 rwhp.

I bought an aftermarket one and went back to the stocker. A smooth bellow is not a bad purchase, but paying that sort of money for a bridge is a waste of money if you ask me. Keep the stock one, get a BLACKWING and BELLOW and worry not about the VARARAM.

I wouldnt waste money on an airbridge. My car has one, but it came with the car when I bought it. I've never heard of any gains with them...its more of an appearance mod.
Also on the intake debate, go Vararam if your looking for the most power. If quality is what your after then go with the Blackwing. Ive had both, and just by switching intakes I gained 2 mph in the quarter.
That Vararam is one big pos though! You'll see when you take it out of the box.

I will buy one myself.....only because I belive they flow way more...or should I say, they look like they'll flow WAAAAAAAY more at 140plus MPH then our stock ones. My setup, which is the vararam, into a stock bridge, into a 90/90 setup....just looks like it is chokeing it out, compaired to an aftermarket. Now, i'm no airflow wiz but, "MY" common sense tells me those bastards HAVE to work.
As far as dyno numbers go,...yeah, i've heard it a million times that gains are minute, if any but....the friggin vararams don't do a whole lot for dyno numbers but, just look at how they perform at the track.
When I get outta my rut, I will buy one for sure. I just can't see spending over 100 bucks for something like this. They're like 150 to 250 bucks right? Crazy.
