Default A/C problem

Hello,

The air condition works for pessenger side, but the air at the driver side is not cold . It was like this when I bought the car(2001 z06). The HVAC didn't have any lights also, so I just installed a new one. I was hoping that it might be the problem but I just realized that it is not. I changed the fuses also, nothing changed. I checked it there are no codes. Did anyone have a similar problem?

Thanks in advance,

Tamer

You're low on freon. Have it recharged and you will be fine.

Has the intake manifold been changed? You might have a vacuum leak that helps to open and close the blend door between A/C and vent. I have ran into porblems where the vacuum hose has broke around the map sensor to anywhere inside the wiring harness behind the battery.
