drill mod on std. vette

do you have to do the drill mod on a 01 Zo6? the pedal gets stuck way to the bottom when i try to shift it quick.

Check the fluid in the MC. If it's dark it needs to be changed.

yes its required..... though a major PITA if you've allready reinstalled everything, I take it your using an aftermarket clutch?

If you do the drill mod I highly recommend that you install some insulation around the line to keep the heat from the headers out of the fluid.

I did it in my C5.....Changed the clutch while I was in there. It is definitely several hours of work. The actual mod to the slave cylinder was really no big deal. Clutch is a bit more sensitive now. But the clutch sticking to the floor is no more.
