Rodney @ RPM. They are by far the best.

Another vote for Rodney at RPM Transmissions. Everyone I know that has one of Rodney's trannies loves the results.

Depending on WHY 3rd gear doesn't work, all you need for the M-12 is a rebuild: shift fork change to steel forks, possibly a new 3rd gear, and carbon-fiber blocker rings. You need about $600 in parts.

We do those tranny's as well. Rodney is a good builder and a friend of ours as well. I too think that rodney or ourselfs would be a good choice.

Keep in mind, that $1,700 - $1,800 to build your tranny will not cover "HARD" parts, so if your tranny is broken when you send it in, you will pay more to fix your problem. I have been dealing with this issue for some time now. I have sent trannys to three different big tranny shops and have had to pay extra to fix the problem on top of the price to build the tranny. I was always thinking that when I send you my tranny to get BUILT that would go through and replace and build any parts that I would need to have a bullet proof tranny.
