Wheel sensors?

Wheel sensors? Can you move them from the stock to an aftermarket wheel? I just bought some oe concepts c6 z06 wheels and didnt even think about them untill it was too late. The rears are already mounted and balanced but their on old nittos that are on their last leg so here soon theyll come back off and hopefully be fixed back up w/ the sensors.
My new front tires should be here this weekend so I'd like to figure out this wheel sensor deal for them because theres no reason to take them back off once their mounted/balanced.
One more thing what would you run for front tires on 17x9.5 wheels?
