Another Problem HELLLLPPPPPP When i'm on the highway, my coolant/engine temps are fine until i come to a stop. With the A/C off, at a stop, the engine temp only rises about 15 degrees to about 200 degrees F. On the highway it's about 185 degrees F. With the A/C on, at a stop, the temp shoots up to 240 degrees F, and on the highway it's 187 degree F with the A/C on. I have a 160* T-stats thats been in the car since Feb. '06 and the car is tuned for the T-stat.....What could be causing my car to overheat at a stop with the A/C on???

There are 2 fans on your car 1 turns on when temp come up to programmed temp other comes on when a/c is kicked on no matter what temp is. If the a/c fan is not coming on then it will be fine going down the road because of the air circulation but at an idel it will get hot and it build alot of preasure on your commpressor. So check secondary a/c fan if it is not working then it could be fan or just the switch. hope this helps you.
