NEW C5 fan switch... well i finally finished my coustom manual fan switch....
thanks to some help from another site....
well i finally got it done this weekand..... and it only cost me a $10 lighted on/off/on rocker from JEGS, a little wire, and a few hours...
installed the switch, 180stat, oil/filter change, drained coolant and refilled with distilled water, and 1 1/2 bottles watter wetter.
and across the board ive seen a 10-20deg. diff.
in traffic the car would allways go to around 220F. and now when i hit traffin or a long light, just turn on one of the fans on low... and it wont go above 199F. cruising on the high way with the a/c on its around 190-195F... i drove about 100miles today, and i never saw above 200F.... with alot of in town driving....
so i would say, the little bit of work was Well worth it.
