Default Zip Tie Mod???

Been reading and searching on pics and exactly how to do the zip tie mod and exactly what it does?? I cant find anything except people saying to just do it.lol Can someone explain or post up some pics??

For a corvette, you just take the top of the air box off and 'zip tie' the filter into place.

You will also want to get a hood seal. It will keep water off the filter if it rains or while your washing.

The ziptie works well but if you really want a great bang for the buck check out the Raptor XXL air intake.

Is this something that works with factory air box systems or is this for any air induction part on the corvette??? This has me curious now aswell.
