Width of C5 front sway bar?
Width of C5 front sway bar? Hey guys,
I just bought a '67 Camaro with an LS6 and C5 corvette front suspension. I want to upgrade the front sway bar, but am not sure if it a factory C5 bar or a fabricated bar. It seems to be only a 1" bar, which won't cut it for me. Could someone give me the overall width of the C5 front sway bar (from endlink to endlink), so I can measure mine and compare? Thanks,

If it is 1" (25.4mm) in diameter it is most likely a Z51 suspension sway bar. Base sway bar is 23 mm, Z06 sway bar is 30 mm.
It could be a 23mm bar, I have not actually measured it. I am more concerned with whether or not it is actually a corvette bar (as opposed to a fabricated bar built for the custom front subframe). The chassis shop who built the subframe is no longer in business, and are hard to get a hold of for questions. Let me see if I can take a pic of the sway bar, and maybe someone can tell me if it is for a vette.
