Z06 Availability

Will there be low mileage (under 35k) 01-04 Z06 in let's say 5 years? I am going back and forth between an 03 cobra and an LS1 car, and the Z06 is sexier than the newier fbodies IMHO.....So I just hope there are some nice ones out there after I graduate! How much do you see these cars going for?

An '03 Cobra cannot compete with a C5 Z06 Vette in any category except maybe a straight line with mods. Never could. Two completely different classes of cars. In 5 years, you could probably pick up a decent C5 Z06 in the low to mid twenties. Your mileage will vary because you're talking about a 7 to 11 year old car. There will always be deals out there. You can buy a C5 Z06 today for less than 30 grand if you look hard enough. Heck, in 5 years the C7 may be out and the prices of a decent C6 Z51 could be sub 30 grand.

Oh I know the Corvette is a completely different animal, outrunning lambo's and ferrari's....I just love the 01-04 Z06....I hope to find one, under 30k with low miles in a few years!!!

5 years from now ? sorry but starting in 97 all corvettes have a shelf life then they disappear into electrons .there will be none left sorry. unreal

There are a ton of Z06s under $30000 available right now. They should be way under $30000 in 5 years.

The Z06 is already availible w/ LOW mileage and under 35k. One local to me has 5,000 miles and the asking is 33k. Its in mint condition too

You can find them for under 30k now if your patient. I bought my '01 Z06 last Oct.(2005) for 29k. It only had 8800 miles on it and was perfect.

I found it on Corvette Forum.

C6s should be under $30,000 in that time, and C5Z06s will probably be found in the mid-20's with <40,000 miles.

so yes, they are already out there.

There will ALWAYS be low mileage C5's... Z06 or regular.. Prolly get a nice C6 by then for cheap.

There are always the corvette "douchebags" that sit there and look at their car instead of driving it. We like to call them waxers or polishers...I just don't get it.. They were meant to be DRIVEN!!
