Default Parts ordered.

Finally, I have ordered alot of stuff I needed. Still need to buy a few more things but....here's list of what I ordered this week.

RAM VDS clutch kit/assembly.(pressure plate(blow proof), flywheel, bearing, clutch, etc.
RAM adjustable master.
ARP flywheel bolts.
ARP PP bolts.
Stainless steel brakes lines.
Rear HAWK pads(mine are almost gone right now)
and complete RACETRONIX fuel system kit(pump and harness).

All I need to buy now is the couplers for the driveline,...i'd like to somehow swing the output shaft,...and I will, buy the KEVLAR blanket for the bellhousing.

All that,...should equal alot of fun for me. With the added fuel, I plan to up the shot. So, we'll see how that goes. The car would have to get re-tuned as well.

I am debating about having the FAST manifold ported,....and I am also STRONGLY thnking about pistons and rods for my spare LS6 block that I have sitting.

Crappy thing is,...lmao...I don't have the money(currently,)(I like paying cash, not credit) for the pistons/rods/porting(of the manifold)/bearings/output shaft etc etc. I do, however, have alot of spare parts that I would like to sell, local, if at all possible. From LS2 heads, to LQ9 heads, blower camshafts, ported 78mm TB's, truck TB's, brand new crane valve springs/retainers,keepers, etc etc.....factory cats(for cts-v's mostly)......various LS1 heads. LS1 intakes.6.0 truck intakes with fuel rails and injectors(I have 7 or more of these).. anyways, if anyone needs anything, let me know. I don't NEED all this stuff but, it's nice having it around the shop....it would be even nicer if I could turn this stuff into cashesh. Know what I mean?

I don't HAVE to do the motor. I was just thinking along the lines of my own personal labor...and how it would be great to due pistons, rods, drivetrain mods all at once....and be golden for a year or soo. That way I could UP my shot to well over two bills,...progressive conrtol the setup....and wreck the world.

Soo...i'm on a misson. Not sure If I wanna be content with what I have already,.....or do I ***** myself out for a month or soo...and build this beotch. I dunno. Timewise...I have been traveling lately,....and I have some planed weekends coming up soon. Like the PRI show(performance racing industry trade show in Orlando) coming up dec 14-16th....and then the following weekend my happy *** will be cruising on our way to the virgin isles. Therefore, my clutch installation, may not be right around the corner anyways. So,...can I wait, and TRY and save to build the block?....or do I just put it together,....run it....be somewhat happy with it...and deal with it.

We'll see. I'll probably end up just puttingit together with what I have but, I would REALLY like to use this motor I have sitting here. It has less then 15k on it(the 2005 LS6) and my current Ls1,...lol...is over 108,000 miles. Yeah buddy. We;ll see. If I didn't know how to do this work myself....I gotta tell ya, my car would probably still be stock, cause I wouldn't be able to afford the labor rates of places. That, the people, friends, I have helping me, and my parts discount, are the only reasons why my car is what it is today.

Anyways...after all that blabber...I am glad my clutch is finally ordered.

Later.

Yeah I am in the need a new clutch now family too. I was thinking Spec from a history of other vehicles but from what I have read the vette is to finicky(sp) for this clutch and there is more bad reviews than good. I had never heard of Ram cluthes until recently but everyone seems to have real good things to say about them, so now I am looking at the Ram HD. Sounds like your ride will be sick when you get that clutch in there and can rip on it.

I've grown up with multiple clutch brands in my mustangs....no problems really. I'm kinda used to pain in the *** clutches. I'm looking forward to it.

I'll keep you all posted.

you're gay!

I know you like "RAM" products, but give me a break here....

Just meesing with you Jamie...I'd put the clutch in etc...and then get started on building a new forged shortblock for plug-n-play when the other one finally lets go.
