Almost there.

I'll let you know. I think it's gonna be smooth and easy if you ask me.
Scoggin dickie rants and raves baout this thingin there AD's.....saying how streetable it is.
Oh and Doug I am surprised you have not swapped the rear end yet. I know I went with one from LG just to make sure I never broke anything. Plus I added some gear (3.90s) while it was out. The 3.90s make the car real nice on the street.
I did swap the rear to a DTE stg III but kept my 3.42's I like the gas mileage too much to give it up. The Vette does better then my v6 Gran Prix. Go figure. I also wanted 5th gear to retain the ability to let me hit 200 mph. 6th gear even with 3.90's just won't accelerate to 200 mph. If I was at the track every weekend I would've definately gotten 3.90's in place of the 3.42's
Hopefully I can get some good video footage for you.
I am not 100% sure it could handle everything you have to dish out, but it'll out do a stock rear for sure.[/QUOTE]Nah man..no more cashish.
If I had your diff....i'd launch at 5 grand or soo. On this one..it'll be in the 3's...maybe less.
lol.
Working on it bro.
right now,...it's 8:29pm...and where stuck at the dyno with fuel pressure issues.
Not a great moment right now....since tomorrow i'm scheuled for a closed track event.
I'm a little pissed. Since tomorrow, i'll have to rip it apart, again.

Ok..after driving 400 miles...I have no issues with the clutch, as far as pedal effort. It feels like a spring....somewhat firm but, no big deal, whatsoever. Some mild chatter, when I need to slowly ride the clutch to pull in and out of a garage.
So far, I like it.
I'd like to change the gear as well....just gotta decide the right ratio to use with the spray.

Sorry.
Yup...it sucks. Cars are like women...
It's always something....money...time....time....time......swe at...etc
I do love it but....**** gets old after a while when you have issues like this...back to back.
Sucks *****.
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
Anything is possible man.
It's ....as follows...
...not enough voltage...which I belive it has....
...or the pickup hose, came off? Very possible but, I remember screwing it down on the end. On the other side of the hose, you CANNOT see, since it's already built by racetronix. So, i'd imagine THAT end is already tightened from the factory. I dunno.
Or...smashed line? Again, I dunno.
I'd take it apart right now but...I don't have anywhere to put the fuel. If we where at MY shop...i'd just let it fall. But, I can't do that here.
I hope so......................
Thanks.
Yesterday morning, around 7:13am I had the car up in the air. I drained about a 1/4 gallon of fuel. Removed the black retaining lock and level from assembly, pulled out the pump/sending unit.
I found that the hose was tightened with the clamp sent with the kit. I removed the hose, which, looking at it, I don't see how it could ever properly seal with only a hose clamp but, whatever.
I snaded down the factory neck that the feed hose slides on to, mixxed up some jb weld, which can be used in petroleum, placed it on there, the slide on the hose. Busted out my heat GUN...mildly softened it up...then hose clamped it.
Result the night before repair, 38psi at idle. 23/24 psi with a rev.
After repair.
Ignition on, engine off, 58psi.
Fixed.
Although I had a problem similar to this on an H2 hummer with a blower kit on it(the hose was split at the end) my boy Mike, "sprayjunkie" did some research for me on tech the night I was at the dyno... turns out, someone had the same problem before...so he relayed the info to me.... which resulted in easy diagnosis. LS1tech rocks....
What was the problem with it?
So far, through only a break in period, V-series has reported no ill effects of this clutch setup. His is a daily driven street car as well.

Hmmm...
Only chatter I get, is when I need to go extremely slow(like bringing it on a lift or backing out of a weird spot or something).
I was only able to click off a few gears that where, quick,...not my fastest honestly but, non the less, quick. I'm used to setups like this my whole life as well...maybe i'm used to it....I dunno.
How about the SHIM kit? How did you install it or have it installed? That makes a difference as well. If you have it adjusted for slip,...there you go. I have mine set to maxmum clamping force,...no slip.
Sorry you didn't like. I like it but,..i'm not normal.

I use the adjustable master,..and adjustable RAM slave.
No issues....daily driven. I put 520 miles on it already.
